We were always used to consuming fresh milk and home-made ghee from our dairy which
was started purely out of passion by my father, but after we moved to the Metro city 20 years
ago, this had become a sheer luxury.
We continued to have home-made ghee prepared by my mother as we didn’t like the aroma and taste of most of the ghee available in the market.
Honey has been another important part of our growing up years. My mom would make her home made remedies when we fell sick with common cold, that worked like a magical elixir and relieved us almost immediately.
